Camera not function

Is the camera switched to ‘ON’ position?

Switch on the camera

 

Is battery installed right?

Install 4 new AAA batteries

 

Do batteries have enough power?

Install 4 new AAA batteries. (Red LED will be on if battery low)

Cannot take picture

Is the camera switched on?

Switch on the camera.  If the switch is at ‘LOCK’ position, no pictures can be taken.

 

Is the environment too dark?

Long beep will be heard if the environment is too dark to take picture.

 

Do batteries have enough power?

Install 4 new AAA batteries. (Red LED will be on if battery low)

Cannot download picture

Is the camera switched to ‘ON’ or ‘LOCK’ position?

Switch the camera to ‘ON’ or ‘LOCK’ position

 

Is the camera kept ‘ON’ or ‘LOCK’ before download?

Do not switch off the camera before downloading the picture. (The picture will be lost if you switch off the camera.)

 

Is battery low?

Install 4 new AAA batteries. (Red LED will be on if battery low)

 

Is the 9 pins D type connector plug in the serial (COM) port of computer?

Plug the D type connector into the serial socket of computer. (Normally the serial (COM) port is the 9 pins D type male socket in the computer.)

 

Is the jack like connector plugged in the camera tightly?

Plug the jack connector in the camera tightly

 

Is the software installed?

Install the software in the CD that is provided with the camera.  Remember to close all applications before installing the software.  The camera driver is only compatible to Windows 95/98

 

Is the “Serial Digital Camera” driver being selected while downloading?

If you have installed other images capturing device driver such as scanner, the exact device “Serial Digital Camera” should be selected before downloading. If you cannot find the “Serial Digital Camera” driver, reinstall the Achiever ADC-65S camera driver or the complete software.  You can also download the driver HERE !
